Web mapping in action

Cadcorp’s Web GIS/mapping products are used by many organisations to create spatially enabled Web sites delivering a variety of services, including the following:

Viewing Cadcorp GeognoSIS.NET OGC WMS services in Google Earth demonstration
One of the new features of Google Earth (Release 4 - BETA) is support for Open Geospatial Consortium, Inc. (OGC) Web Map Service (WMS) overlays. As a result, users can access and integrate geographic data with Google Earth via WMS servers such as Cadcorp GeognoSIS.NET. The WMS servers can either be remotely available on the internet, or local on a corporate intranet - for example serving the user's own corporate data. The WMS images are superimposed onto other Google Earth layers, such as high resolution satellite imagery, and can then be distributed to all of the Google Earth users within an organisation who are licensed to use the data.

The following example data shows gridded NO2 pollution data served by a Cadcorp GeognoSIS.NET WMS demonstration service

Please note that the free version of Google Earth is for home/personal use only, and that a licence of Google Earth Pro is required for any professional or commercial use

The following Web mapping customer examples are powered by Cadcorp GeognoSIS.NET, which extends the use of Cadcorp SIS for use over the Internet or a corporate intranet:
