Cadcorp expands team.

Julia Smith joins Cadcorp as marketing manager.

Digital mapping and geographic information systems (GIS) software developer, Cadcorp, has announced the appointment of Julia Smith as marketing manager. Reporting to operations director, Martin McGarry, she takes on responsibility for Cadcorp’s worldwide marketing activities.

Smith has over 8 years marketing and business development experience within the direct marketing and systems integration industry. She started her career as campaign manager for voluntary sector and charity organisations including the Royal National Institute for the Blind and the Womens Royal Voluntary Service before moving on to marketing roles with Anite, Steria and Cable and Wireless.

She joins Cadcorp from ConnectMK, a private company formed by Milton Keynes Council to provide the residents and businesses of Milton Keynes with improved access to broadband services. With extensive experience of marketing to the public sector she brings a wealth of knowledge to the company.
