New local customer services capability and upcoming user and partner seminar day will aid growing Cadcorp customer base and partners Digital mapping and geographic information system (GIS) software developer Cadcorp has announced an increased presence in Northern Ireland through the appointment of Philip McLaughlin as customer services engineer for the region. McLaughlin has relocated from Cadcorp’s UK headquarters in Stevenage to his home base in Northern Ireland, to provide local technical support and professional services to the growing number of Cadcorp customers in the region, including Ordnance Survey Northern Ireland (OSNI). Cadcorp also announces a User and Partner Seminar Day on 16 March 2005 at the Dunadry Hotel and Conference Centre in Antrim, near to Belfast’s international airport. Open to existing and potential users, the seminar brings together speakers from Cadcorp’s growing user base, OSNI and e-Gov solution partners Consilium and Sx3. Delegates will learn about the latest GIS and e-Gov solutions, OSNI data and initiatives; providing an opportunity to network with other users and leading industry specialists. Cadcorp will also be providing a free technical workshop-style presentation aimed at helping users maximise their use of Cadcorp SIS – Spatial Information System with OSNI data.
