More Cadcorp UK Local Authority Sales Announced

Cadcorp, the developer of the popular Cadcorp SIS – Spatial Information System digital mapping and GIS software suite is pleased to announce a number of recent sales to UK local authorities.

Elmbridge Borough Council has increased its Cadcorp SIS licence holding by ordering a number of Map Manager licences for use on Tablet PCs by council workers engaged in field work.

Cadcorp SIS user Charnwood Borough Council has purchased a Web-based GIS solution based upon Cadcorp SIS Active Server Component (ASC).

Bradford Metropolitan District Council has purchased Cadcorp's flagship desktop GIS product, Map Modeller following a recent product evaluation exercise. It will be used initially to develop 3-D terrain models to support the 'Social Accessibility Modelling Project' (a collaboration between CBMDC, West Yorkshire PTE, Transport for London, University of Westminster and Tower Hamlets Council).

In Scotland, Forth Valley GIS, the prestigious Stirling based public sector GIS service provider has also selected Cadcorp SIS Map Modeller following an evaluation period. This purchase is to give Forth Valley GIS additional flexibility for their GI data management strategies.

In Northern Ireland, Dungannon District Council has purchased Cadcorp SIS following the recent Cadcorp Belfast Road Show and subsequent visits to the country.

Cadcorp apSIS is programmable component software for the development of geospatial applications for the desktop and Pocket PC platforms.

Cadcorp mSIS is a data collection package that incorporates a desktop data capture management application and a Pocket PC based data collection tool.
