Cadcorp signs a distributor for Turkey

Cadcorp, the developer of the popular Cadcorp SIS – Spatial Information System digital mapping and GIS software suite is pleased to announce that it has signed a distribution agreement with Turkish Management Information System (MIS) and Geographical Information System (GIS) specialist company Sampas A.S.

Sampas was established in 1980. Has 4 regional offices (Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Adana) and more than 100 technical employees. Sampas has over 600 customers in the local authority and municipality sectors, corresponding to cities that account for 65% of the Turkish population. Sampas also has customers in the defense sector; one important client being Aselsan, one of the service providers of the Turkish Army. The main services provided by Sampas consist of MIS (based on Oracle) and GIS, plus all supporting hardware and services.

Sampas has extensive GIS rollout and implementation plans for those municipal customers already using their management information system.

Cadcorp SIS OS MasterMap Loader is supplied with Cadcorp SIS Map Modeller for the loading and management of Ordnance Survey MasterMap data in relational databases.

Cadcorp apSIS is programmable component software for the development of geospatial applications for the desktop and Pocket PC platforms.

Cadcorp mSIS is a data collection package that incorporates a desktop data capture management application and a Pocket PC based data collection tool.
