Free Batch Translator for Cadcorp SIS

Cadcorp, the developer of the popular Cadcorp SIS – Spatial Information System digital mapping and GIS software suite is pleased to announce the release of the new Cadcorp SIS Batch Translator. This is another addition to the ever increasing range of free applications available for download by Cadcorp SIS users. The Cadcorp SIS Batch Translator extends standard Cadcorp SIS functionality by enabling users to select many files for translation as a batch into another format. The source files may be in different formats, and stored in different folders. All files will be translated into a common format in a specified folder on a PC or on a network drive.

It will operate in conjunction with the Map Manager, Map Editor and Map Modeller desktop products.

The Batch Translator will read a wide range of formats including: BDS, SHP, DXF, DWG, NTF, MIF, TAB, DGN, GML and GZ.

Files may be output in one of the following formats: BDS, SHP, DXF, DWG, MIF and TAB.

The selection of multiple source files for export.
Source files may be in more than one folder.
Source files may be in different formats.
Exported files are collected into a single folder in the chosen format.
