We came across and evaluated Cadcorp SIS and found that it offered many compelling reasons for us to get involved with the software. These included excellent 'out-of-the-box' support for a wide range of GIS and database formats (including Oracle 8i Spatial), world leading OpenGIS conformance, and the neat integration of the product range across the desktop modules, developer kits and Web products. Cadcorp SIS is powerful tool to build and hold a GIS solution together".

Late in 2001, we signed agreements with Centroid in Finland, Metria in Sweden and now in March 2002, Geo Graphics in Norway. Growth of our Nordic business will continue to be a focus and through our relationship with Geo Graphics, we are exited by the prospects of winning business in the Norwegian GIS market”

About Cadcorp SIS

Cadcorp SIS - Spatial Information System - is a suite of Windows-based and Web-enabled end user and developer digital mapping and geographic information system (GIS) software products. The suite comprises: Map Viewer, which provides support for over 45 graphic and data formats, thematics and hard copy; Map Manager, which provides the mainstream user the ability to view, explore, query, symbolise and print digital map and associated tabular data; Map Editor, which in addition to the facilities provided by Map Manager, provides the GIS data custodian with tools to view, manage and edit map and tabular data; and Map Modeller, which adds 3D modelling, terrain analysis and several thematic and analytic mapping tools.

Cadcorp ASC (Active Server Component) extends the functionality of Cadcorp SIS for use over the Internet or a company-wide intranet.
