Cadcorp establishes Asia Pacific Office

Cadcorp, developers of the increasingly popular Cadcorp SIS - Spatial Information System suite of GIS and digital mapping software is pleased to announce it has established a new subsidiary in Sydney Australia, Cadcorp Pty Limited, to provide support to and to expand the network of, Distributors and VAR's in the Asia Pacific region.

Robert (Bob) Greenfield is hired as Director of Sales and Business, Asia Pacific Region. Bob is supported by Kenneth (Ken) Wong.

Bob joins Cadcorp from Autodesk Inc., where he was Sales Development Director, Asia Pacific Region for the Building Industry Division. Bob has extensive experience in the software industry as a Director for Revit Technology Corporation and Channelinx.com. He has lived and worked in Asia for over 20 years, studied Mandarin in Beijing and received his Masters in International Management from the American Graduate School of International Management.

Ken, a survey, GPS and GIS specialist, was previously employed by AGIS Singapore, an established Cadcorp distributor, prior to returning to Australia.

Bob and Ken will report to Martin McGarry, Head of Sales and Marketing at Cadcorp.

Cadcorp SIS MasterMap Loader is supplied with Map Modeller for the loading and management of OS MasterMap data in relational databases.

Cadcorp apSIS is programmable component software for the development of geospatial applications for the desktop and Pocket PC platforms.

Cadcorp mSIS is a data collection package that incorporates a desktop data capture management application and a Pocket PC based data collection tool.
