Press ReleaseCadcorp in Tech Track listing for Britain's top 100 fastest growing technology companies Cadcorp appeared in position 83 of this years Sunday Times Tech Track 100 listing with a percentage annual sales growth of 62.84%. Tech Track 100 is compiled by Fast Track, a dedicated research company that tracks Britain's most dynamic unquoted companies. Nearly half of the firms listed were software developers, but Cadcorp is the only PC mapping software developer listed.
Companies were extensively researched and originated from a database of 1m private UK companies. Many criteria governed the final listing. For example, the technology companies had to be registered in the UK as independent, unquoted companies and not as subsidiaries. Sales growth was measured by compound annual growth rate (CAGR) measured over 2 years, 1999 - 2001. Sales had to exceed £100,000 in financial year 1999 and £1m in financial year 2001. All companies had to have a product or service in demand in the marketplace and not be 'blue-sky' concept firms. An online version of the Tech Track listing is available at: www.fasttrack100.co.uk/techTrack100/home.htm Cadcorp Managing Director Mike O'Neil stated, "we are extremely pleased and proud to have qualified for this prestigious listing.
