Press ReleaseDoyle joins AGI Direct Action Committee Simon Doyle, Product Engineer, Cadcorp, has been appointed as a member of the Association for Geographic Information's Direct Action Committee. The Committee is responsible for briefing the AGI Management board on the latest developments in the GI market sector and for coordinating the various AGI Special Interest Groups. With broad experience in the Local Government and Education sectors and GIS qualifications from University College London, Doyle is looking forward to working with other industry experts for the benefit of the AGI, of which Cadcorp is a major sponsor. It is expected that he will be advising the Committee on the implementation of new GIS practices, particularly relating to OpenGIS and Ordnance Survey MasterMap.
