Built around Computer Aided Development Corporation's Spatial Information System. The solution comprises Cadcorp Map Editor and Map Modeller licences and ISS Enquiry, ISS's purpose built Enquiry facility, based on Cadcorp SIS CDM Viewer, for general deployment.

Sharyn Langford, GIS Manager said "Integrated Spatial Systems' solution best suited Kiama Municipal Council's needs with regards to GIS functionality, manageability and cost.

For GIS edit and maintenance users we were able to select the most suitable product from the Cadcorp SIS range without needing to specify extra cost modules, and for GIS deployment throughout Council, ISS Enquiry offers full functionality GIS read-only tools with a simple to learn and use interface."

Cadcorp SIS will be integrated with a subset of data from Council's Local Government Information System (LGIS) to allow direct access from within the GIS to the aspatial data, and will later be fully integrated with Council's selected replacement LGIS.

About Cadcorp SIS

Cadcorp SIS - Spatial Information System - is a suite of Windows-based and Web-enabled end user and developer digital mapping and geographic information system (GIS) software products. The suite comprises: Map Viewer, which provides support for over 45 graphic and data formats, thematics and hard copy; Map Manager, which provides the mainstream user the ability to view, explore, query, symbolise and print digital map and associated tabular data; Map Editor, which in addition to the facilities provided by Map Manager, provides the GIS data custodian with tools to view, manage and edit map and tabular data; and Map Modeller, which adds 3D modelling, terrain analysis and several thematic and analytic mapping tools.

Cadcorp ASC (Active Server Component) extends the functionality of Cadcorp SIS for use over the Internet or a company-wide intranet. It is a dynamic, server-side Web-based GIS, not merely a map publishing tool for pre-authored images.
