Another five join Cadcorp

As part of ongoing company expansion, five new members of staff have recently joined Cadcorp to work in both the Stevenage and London offices.

Richard Giblin has joined the ranks of the Cadcorp sales team after leaving a successful role of Business Development Manager at Innogistic Software Plc. Richard brings to Cadcorp over 10 years IT experience, project management, and sales skills with such companies that include Ford Credit Europe, and J Sainsbury PLC. He has been concentrating on Cadcorp's growth of sales within the southern UK.

Neil Fulton joins Cadcorp as a Sales and Business Manager for the Scandinavian region from London based Web software company Connextra where he worked as a Business Account Manager. Neil is a graduate of Leeds University.

Eihab el Mahi is a qualified civil engineer and has taken up position in the Cadcorp Post Sales Team as a Technical Specialist. An experienced Web and Visual Basic programmer, Eihab has in his previous roles developed the website www.webtransfers.co.uk and also concrete slab design software for use in large building construction projects. Amongst other Cadcorp projects, Eihab is working on a Web knowledge base for Cadcorp SIS.

Gerardo Ocana has joined Cadcorp’s London based core programming team. Gerardo is Mexican, obtained his first degree in physics and spent the following eight years doing research in astronomy. An MSc in Computing Science followed and Gerado has focussed on the Java and C++ programming languages.

Another addition to the London based core programming team is German born Martin Schafer. From 1995 to 2000 Martin lived in Hong Kong and worked there as a Senior Software Engineer for Fontworks. He has an MSc in computer science from the University of Karlsruhe, Germany. Martin is currently working on new developments for Windows CE and Java as well as core Cadcorp SIS development.
