Cadcorp and Informatix mark the sale of over 5000 Cadcorp SIS licences in Japan

Cadcorp, (the UK based developer of Cadcorp SIS - Spatial Information System) and its Japanese distributor Informatix recently celebrated the sale of over 5000 Cadcorp SIS licences in Japan.

A celebratory luncheon was held at the Cafe Royal in London at which management and staff of Cadcorp dined with the President of Informatix, Masanori Nagashima and his company Managing Director Shoichi Mihara. To mark this key milestone in the Cadcorp/Informatix trading relationship, Mike O'Neil, Managing Director of Cadcorp presented Informatix with a lead crystal globe which represented the Cadcorp logo.

"Informatix started selling Cadcorp SIS in Japan in 1996 and since then have developed the business to this level", stated Mike O'Neil, "Informatix is an important partner for Cadcorp and we look forward to the further success of our relationship. 5000 units sold presented itself as a great milestone to celebrate" he added.

Masanori Nagashima of Informatix explained his companies success as due to having the right company infrastructure, skills and customer base, coupled with good software and the skill to build and sustain a channel of Value Added resellers.
